Hi, I’m Elizabeth, the baker behind The Funky Acorn Cookie Shoppe! Based right here in West Michigan, I specialize in custom-decorated sugar cookies that are as delightful to look at as they are to eat. Every cookie is baked fresh from scratch, then decorated with hand-painted details, vibrant colors, and sometimes even a little sparkle.
It all began one day in April 2025, when an unexpected urge took over—I couldn’t resist buying over 300 cookie cutters at a fantastic deal because the baking supplies store I loved was closing! Combine that with my lifelong passion for all things art… and a quirky fascination with acorns, and suddenly, The Funky Acorn Cookie Shoppe was born.
From birthdays and showers to holidays and just-because treats, I love creating edible art that helps families celebrate life’s sweetest moments. When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me sketching new designs, enjoying time outdoors, or gathering inspiration from nature and everyday life.
